![]() I think I agree with those who say that you should have antivirus on a server, but since you have WD already built-in is that enough or do you still go with 3rd party products on top? Either way - can you also give your reasons on WHY you go with whatever you go? Others say that you should have antivirus everywhere. Some people say not to install it because it will slow things down or can even stop certain things from working altogether. ![]() I've been reading about antivirus on servers and opinions seem to split. But then again - what do all those 3rd party Antiviruses have that WD doesn't? But personal computer is one thing and a corporate server is totally different. And now I am not using any additional antivirus on my Windows 10 laptop either. I haven't been using any 3rd party antivirus on my regular Windows 7 PC ever since Microsoft Security Essentials was introduced for free years ago (had Avast Free or AVG Free years before that). Do you install any antivirus on Server 2016 or do you just go with the built-in Windows Defender? Is WD sufficient enough or not?
